Today was Friday. Instead of professors saying “Have a nice weekend, see you on Monday,” I left class with “Have a nice time in Spain and Morocco, see you in class in 2 weeks.” I must be dreaming. Sailing across the Atlantic, this voyage has been amazing, and we haven’t reached a port yet. Tomorrow morning at 800 hours, the sun will rise, and we will see the first land in 7 days. I'll disembark to Cadiz and Seville, and return to the ship next week to sail for a day without class. Next stop- Casablanca, Morocco, for an adventure of trekking through the Atlas mountains, searching the streets of Marrakesh, and ah yes, camel riding through the Sahara Desert and sleeping under the stars.
Life is good.
